Business Luncheon

October 2018 SARWH held a unique and very successful Business Luncheon at the Grand Hall, St Martin’s House, Leicester, adjacent to the Cathedral, attended by over 80 members.

Dr Richard Buckley CBE, the leader of the archaeological project to locate the remains of Richard III was the speaker. Members enjoyed a lunch menu which replicated that served to Her Majesty the Queen on the occasion when she visited the Cathedral for the Maundy service. Members of the Association were also invited to the Cathedral to view the tomb of Richard III.

The event was sponsored by Paul Gooding and his company Vitax with the beautiful table flowers donated by Rosemary Mason of Rosemary Hughes Flowers.
