Council

The council is an elected voluntary body of Royal Warrant holders, responsible for the running of the Association.

The role of the council is to:

• Foster and maintain harmonious relations between the staff at Sandringham and local tradespeople.
• Unite in one local body, the Royal Warrant holding firms, and in so doing provide an opportunity for Warrant Holders to meet each other socially.
• Act as a watchdog for infringements of ‘The Lord Chamberlain’s Rules’ to be observed by Royal Warrant Holders in local press advertisements and press and radio features, articles and programmes.
• Assist the parent Association in the conduct of the affairs connected with the Royal Warrant by acting as a focal point for local Warrant Holders to obtain advice, filtering problems and solving local issues connected with the use of the Royal Warrant wherever possible.

Council meets four times a year.
